Join the Stitchcraft Workshop for a 2 hour session where you will sew up a star decoration from themed fabrics, you will learn basic patchwork techniques and hand sewing stitches to make something that can be used year after year. You will be guided through each step with demonstrations and support to make as many as you like within the workshop time. Make them for yourself or loved ones as a beautiful handmade gift.
For this class you will need:-
*A sewing machine.
*A basic knowledge of sewing with your machine.
*A Sewing Kit:- Scissors, Thread, Pins, Tape Measure etc.
*Optional:- Fabric. I will have fabric that you can use but if you have a specific one in mind please bring it along.
This workshop is for beginners upwards, you will be using a straight stitch as well as applying interfacing (provided) you must be able to thread and use your machine.
You will take home with you a beautiful handmade star decoration that you can use for yourself or give as a gift.
These sessions are open to people aged 13 and above but under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
All materials are provided, however, if you have a certain fabric, beads or embellishment’s you wish to use please bring them along.
Light refreshments are included, if you have any dietary requirements please contact us before the workshop.
