Season, Self & Story - Nature connection and reflective journalling

Over the darker months, I'll be running monthly 'Season, Self and Story' workshops in partnership with @gallery_kitchen_cafe based at @creek_creative in Faversham.
They'll run on the 1st Thursday of the month, 2pm til 4pm.
Spaces are limited so book early ☺️
“What is outside is also within”
Join me for a monthly, two-hour session at Gallery Kitchen Cafe, combining a gentle walk, creative journalling and quiet reflection noticing how the colours, textures and rhythms of the changing seasons outside relate to your inner experience.
We'll meet at the cafe to order hot drinks and begin the workshop, then take a short walk to the nearby churchyard to find a natural object that catches your eye. For example; a leaf, seed pod, stone, stick. Back in the warmth of the gallery, with your drink waiting, you'll be guided through gentle prompts to explore what this object reflects about your life right now - describing it, drawing its shape and colours, and sitting with any stories that want to be told.
There will be a chance to share your reflections if you'd like, before taking your object with you (to add to a seasonal altar, keep to hand in your pocket, or return outdoors to the land).
These sessions are rooted in the idea that nature can be a steady, always-available source of support. The other-than-human world offers space to slow down, connect to the wisdom of life and be creative, especially through the seasons many of us find hardest.
