Hello again, friends, fans, and Superfans! The time has come once again to reach out to all of you to ask for your help to assemble the show for the show's upcoming 19th season. I'm counting on lots of help to help get things ready for another incredible season of lights, celebration, fun, and the greatest "Happy Birthday, Jesus" party around. If you're not familiar with our Community Build Days, this is when we ask you - the show's fans - to come out, meet us, and learn the behind-the-scenes stuff that goes into the show. We'll provide snacks, drinks, and a good lunch, and we'll teach you everything you need to know to help out. That's important! There are NO SPECIAL SKILLS required to help! There will be no heavy lifting, no climbing, and no technical knowledge. It's a lot of fun, and for you teens - we'll even sign your Community Service forms! Stay as little or as long as you like - this is a fun fellowship experience, not a work camp. All you need is a few hours, and a desire to contribute.
Best of all, when you come back to watch the show with your family and friends, you can proudly point to the portions that you worked on and say, "I did that!"
Interested? Then join us and help to set-up what will delight and inspire thousands of visitors in the upcoming season. It's a low-key, fun time, so come on out, get fed, have fun, and become a Geek Lights insider! So, come join our GLOTC "inner-circle" of friends. Meet The Geek and Spouse Peripheral, get early insights into this year's show! Don't forget - we provide everything - including drinks and a good lunch.
If you plan on coming, please don't just click "Like" or "Interested". Click "Going" or whatever it is that Facebook is displaying that will let us know that you're actually planning to attend. WE NEED THESE NUMBERS TO ESTABLISH A HEAD COUNT TO PLAN THE FOOD! And if you're bringing someone, send us a message and let us know. Sorry for sounding so demanding but experience shows if we don't get this information, we'll either run short, or have so much food left over we'll be eating it for a month!
Questions? Ask away! Otherwise, please save the date, and come join us!
