Join us for a beach walk to learn about seagrass, what fragments can be used for replanting, and help gather Posidonia and Amphibolis seagrass for restoration projects!You will also learn more about OzFish fish habitat projects and get involved in citizen science efforts to lead your own seagrass monitoring and collection efforts.
Spring has sprung! So, meet us down on the beach for an easy couple of hours walking along the beach and talking all things seagrass and OzFish.
No experience needed, just enthusiasm and a willingness to stroll along the beach!
What to bring
- Closed-toe shoes that may get wet.
- Suitable clothing for working outdoors (wind jacket recommended).
- Hat, sunscreen and insect repellent.
- Drink bottle and snacks.
