For all those who have wondered what a zine is, find out at Seaford’s first Zine & Book Art Fair, a celebration of zines, handmade books, creativity and all things wonderfully independent.Taking place on Saturday 17th October from 11am to 3pm at the Wellington Pub on Steyne Road, the fair is bringing together a lively mix of local artists, writers, zine-makers and independent creators. Expect tables packed with self-published zines, artists’ books, prints, drawings and all kinds of wonderful works on paper, with plenty to browse, buy and be inspired by. Generously hosted by the Wellington Pub, entry is free.
The fair is all about bringing people together and celebrating the joy of making things by hand. Meet the creators, discover the stories and ideas behind their work, and find out just how much you can do with paper, ink, imagination and a little DIY spirit.
