Join us for a slow flow surrounded by the natural beauty of the San Dieguito Lagoon—a perfect way to start your Saturday!
Listen to your breath, the breeze, and the birds overhead during this mindful, music-free flow. Practicing outdoors offers a chance to connect not only with yourself, but with the world around you. Your participation also supports the San Dieguito River Valley Conservancy's ongoing work to protect and preserve the river valley through conservation, restoration, education, and community involvement.
SDRVC offers Yoga at the Birdwing on the second Saturday and third Sunday of each month. Second Saturday yoga is led by Anna Dubrovsky, a longtime yoga teacher and founder of Delve Wellness Collective.
Please bring a yoga mat and water. We also recommend a towel or blanket for extra cushioning. We practice on dirt/rocks at the Birdwing Open Air Classroom, which is a short (approximately 0.2 mile) walk east along the Coast to Crest Trail from the San Dieguito Lagoon Staging Area.
The Birdwing can be tricky to find. From Via De La Valle, turn South on San Andres, between two banks, and turn into the third driveway on your left. That DIRT ROAD driveway will lead you to the parking/staging area. Park at the far end near the trailhead and walk east. San Dieguito River Park Ranger Station - Google Maps
