About the Instructor:
Glorya HANNA
The instructor Gloria Hanna begun her creative path as a designer in Paris. Trained in structure, function and clean lines, it was through clay that she truly found her voice. In the slow, tactile process of shaping earth with her hands, she discovered a more intimate language, one that allows her sensitivity, intuition and emotion to surface freely; after learning the basics of ceramic art in Asia, mainly China and Japan, she settled in her workshop in Paris, and refined her art of sculpture and modelling through the teaching of international artist Ciliana Villegas. Her work is deeply inspired by classical sculpture, where timeless forms, balance and quiet strength are reinterpreted through a contemporary sensibility. Gloria is driven by a passion to make the art of sculpture and modelling accessible to all.
