About this Event
Join us for a screening of Harvey Wang’s documentary film From Darkroom to Daylight, presented in conjunction with WANG’S WORLD: Photographs and Films of Harvey Wang.
Through interviews with more than 20 influential figures in photography, the film explores the field’s monumental transition from analog to digital technology, and how that transformation has changed the ways photographers create, work and think about the medium. Featuring studio visits, artists’ work and archival imagery, From Darkroom to Daylight offers a deeply personal record of a defining moment in photographic history.
"This is at once an homage to the analog world of film photography, a capsule history of the medium's digital revolution, and an engaging conversation with noted photographers about the transition between them." —American Photo
