Class Description
Want to make your own unique tote bag? In this class we will learn the basics of screen printing on paper and fabric. You will go home with a one of a kind screen printed tote bag. We’ll have fun practicing printing on paper and fabric to get your design just right and your skills honed. When you’re ready, you’ll print your final product. - a tote bag you can take home. Use a design I provide or work with me to get your own design print ready.
No screen printing experience necessary. Suitable for anyone - teens, adults, and younger kids with a helping adult.
The materials fee for this class is $15. This is separate from the ticket price and is to reimburse the instructor for any tools or materials used in this class. This will be paid once, directly to the instructor at the start of the first class meeting. This instructor accepts cash or Venmo.

Erin Shackelford is a print maker and perpetual student interested in supporting more people to access art and the skills they need to make stuff.
Your Ticket Includes
- 2 hours of instructional guidance.
- Access to A2's screenprinting shop and tools for the duration of the session, including ink, prepared screens, squeegees, tote bags, practice paper and fabric.
Class Policies
Attire: Attendants should wear close-toed slip-resistant shoes (steel-toe work boots are ideal), long pants, and no loose-fitting clothing that could possibly get caught in machinery. Make sure to wear only natural fibers (i.e., cotton, wool, linen, etc) and bring reading glasses if needed for detailed work.
Students should: email the teacher 3 days prior to class provide your own design or choose an offered design. Some aprons are available, but feel free to bring your own.
