Scrapper is a post-punk band that channels conflicting influences into an unmistakable and unique torrent of sound. Based in Brooklyn, the band thrives on creating tension with raspy vocals, melancholy lyrics, and suspenseful instrumentals. Scrapper is comprised of Sean Flanagan (vox/guitar), Mike Themistocleous (guitar/vox), Joe Brennan (bass), and Davis
Jordan (drums).
“Heat is a perfectly-paced introduction to a band that is poised to set the New York rock
scene ablaze.” - How Lucky Media
“Heat, with its lyrics that all fall so neatly into place and the whiff of New York City at its
most crowded and full of creative ideas, sounds like a nursery rhyme created for people
suffering from somnambulism. It’s also an excellent-sounding record that’s punchy,
confident, and cleverer than most, the way you’d expect NYC bands to behave.” - Alt77
“Heat is an unsettling exercise in post-punk, pairing a creeping backbone with spindly
guitars and glassy-eyed vocals.” - Buffablog
