International Student new to Glasgow? Welcome!
Join us for an evening of Scottish food and traditional Scottish ceilidh dancing! A ceilidh is a great way to meet new friends and have some fun. And don't worry - someone will teach you the dances!
The event is hosted by local volunteers from St Georges Tron Church and is part of the International Welcome 2026, organised by Friends International Glasgow. It is a social event open to all international students in Glasgow. People of all faiths (and none) are welcome.

The International Welcome 2026 is organised by Friends International Glasgow with the aim to welcome international students from all over the world to Glasgow. All events are free social events with the aim of welcoming students to the city, sharing culture, food and tips about living in Glasgow. People of all faiths (and none) are welcome.
