A fantastic day for the whole family. If you ever fancied having a go at a highland fling or a truly traditional reel, this is your chance! Join Rowland Hill from the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society for a super fun family workshop celebrating our Scots heritage.
Whether you’re 8 or 80, this beginner-friendly session is designed for everyone to join in and dance together regardless of age or skill. It'll teach you the steps and patterns of a traditional reel. Bring the whole family (wains should be accompanied by big yins) enjoy lunch together (on us) and finish by performing your new dance for friends and family at 1pm with live music and entertainment.
We promise a joyful cultural dance workshop for complete beginners, line dancers, or would-be hoofers, and we guarantee great craic, and a smile-on-your-face experience.
