Six-time GRAMMY® certificate recipient and internationally acclaimed jazz violinist Scott Tixier returns to Steve’s Wine Bar for an intimate and fiery evening featuring the world premiere of brand-new original music, written especially for this performance.
Joining Tixier are Dave Meder on piano, Mike Luzecky on double bass, and Matt Young on drums.
After several years of international touring, recording, and performing alongside artists including Jon Batiste and Mariah Carey, and following his recent work with Hilary Hahn, including world premieres at Wigmore Hall and the Chicago Symphony Center, Tixier returns to Texas for a rare performance.
