Scott spent his career arguing that no one should have to sit through something boring — an on-hold message, a radio spot, a Monday morning.Over a four-decade career, Scott coined Humor On Hold, collected more than 150 awards, judged the Tellys and the ADDYs, mentored more young writers than he probably ever counted, and asked every one of them the same question: who cares?
