Line-up for this show:

Scott Bennett

Scott Bennett is one of the UK’s most in-demand stand-up comedians, known for his brilliantly crafted observational comedy and warm, engaging delivery. He has appeared on Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week and The Royal Variety Performance, and is a regular voice on BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz and The Now Show.

His acclaimed stand-up shows Leap Year and Relax were nominated for Best Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival, while his debut hour About a Roy was a Top Ten pick at the Edinburgh Fringe. During lockdown he created the viral online series Stand-Up from the Shed, which gained national press coverage.

Scott has supported major comedians including Jason Manford, Rob Brydon and John Bishop on tour. The Evening Standard calls him “live comedy’s best kept secret.

Sharon Wanjohi

Pleasance Reserve Member and Funny Women Stage Award Finalist Sharon Wanjohi is a queer British Kenyan comedian, who’s been making waves on the circuit with her take on the lack of Gen-z homeowners and maybe too much material on the cartoons that inspired a generation of sexual awakenings.

Sharon is an alumna of the 2024 Pleasance Reserve and is making her debut at the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe with ‘In The House’. As a prolific writer, Sharon has written for acclaimed television series including Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Late Night Lycett, and the Jonathan Ross Show. As seen on Comedy Central Live, Wanjohi has also provided tour support for Jessica Fostekew and Sarah Keyworth.

Elis James

Elis James is a stand-up comedian, podcast host, actor, and broadcaster. Since 2019, he has hosted the Friday afternoon show on BBC 5 Live with John Robins.

Elis has made numerous TV appearances, including Mock the Week, 8 Out of 10 Cats, and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. As an actor, he starred in BBC sitcom Crims and in three series of Josh, created by Josh Widdicombe.

He co-hosts several podcasts, including his 5 Live podcast and 'How Do You Cope' with fellow comedian John Robins. Additionally, he co-hosts BBC's 'The Socially Distant Sports Bar' with Mike Bubbins and Steff Garrero, the 'Feast of Football' podcast for BBC Radio Wales, and 'Football Weekly' for The Guardian. Elis hosts the comedy/history series 'Oh What a Time'.

He and John Robins recently presented 'Made Up Games Live', and he has toured with 'The Socially Distant Sports Bar'.

In addition, Elis regularly writes for The Guardian and published his first co-authored book, 'Holy Vible,' with John Robins.
