Join us for a family-friendly ice cream tasting and book pairing. Ice cream is available for purchase and you can try the winning flavor** chosen by the community as well as a few Wild Scoops favorites while you discover books selected by Anchorage Public Library youth librarians to pair with your cool treat! **Help us create a library themed ice cream flavor based on a favorite children’s book! Ice cream and book lovers of all ages can participate in this tasty challenge.
Pick up a flavor creation sheet at any library location between September 1-13. Return your flavor design back to the library or scan and email it to [email protected] by Sunday, September 13. Wild Scoops will choose 5 finalists and the public will get to pick the winner!
Voting starts the week of September 14. Look for the voting link on social media (@wildscoops and @anchoragelibrary) and in-person at Wild Scoops or any APL location.
The winning flavor and more will be available at the tasting and book pairing on September 30!
