A regular grassroots event that promises an inclusive and welcoming environment for all. Whether you work in science, study it, or simply have a personal interest, this brunch is the perfect opportunity to connect, learn, and share ideas.
Here's what you can expect at a Science Social event:
At Science Social, we meet new friends and welcome old over coffee & brunch at a lovely cafe in Southbank. Our hosts Holly & Nate will guide you through a fun array of science-related polls, games, and thought-provoking guided discussions.
You can participate as much or as little as you wish: these regular brunches are an opportunity to network with other scientists and science enthusiasts, share interests or projects, dive into fun activities, or just observe and enjoy a fun social atmosphere.
Prize Giveaway: A chance to win a cafe drink voucher. Showcase your science knowledge with your favourite science jokes or fascinating facts and have fun competing for the prize.
This is a free event, but please RSVP so we know the correct numbers to book with the venue.

HOW TO GET THERE?
📍 10am (brunch time) for a 10:30am start, Mi Casa Cafe, Southbank.
🚆Cafe is right underneath the Southbank Train Station, ground level.
🚶 If you start on the corner of Tribune St and Grey St, you’ll walk up Grey St (uphill), then you’ll pass the Emporium entrance and McDonalds.
☕ Keep going, and Mi Casa Cafe will be on your right!
