About this Event
The Liebman Institute for Science Innovation (LISI) invites you to an extraordinary evening where dramatic theater meets immersive science.
History and science come to life through three compelling, one-person theatrical performances written, directed, and performed entirely by McHenry County College students. Attend and celebrate these visionary thinkers who challenged the scientific consensus of their era to unlock fundamental truths about health, disease, and our planet.
Act I: Epidemiology Pioneer Dr. John Snow – The map that stopped cholera.
Act II: Antiseptic Champion Dr. Ignaz Semmelweis – The battle for hand hygiene.
Act III: Original Climate Scientist Eunice Newton Foote – The forgotten story of the female pioneer of climate science.
Live science experiments will take place between each act.
Doors open at 6:30pm
