About this Event
In the heart of the 1970s, amidst a flurry of feathered hair and flared jeans, Gru (Steve Carell) is growing up in the suburbs. A fanboy of a supervillain supergroup known as the Vicious 6, Gru hatches a plan to become evil enough to join them. Luckily, he gets some mayhem-making back-up from his loyal followers, the Minions.
Together, Kevin, Stuart, Bob, and Otto - a new Minion sporting braces and a desperate need to please - deploy their skills as they and Gru build their first lair, experiment with their first weapons, and pull off their first missions. When the Vicious 6 oust their leader, legendary fighter Wild Knuckles (Alan Arkin), Gru interviews to become their newest member.
This movie is rated PG and is suitable for school aged children. Children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

- Attendance at events supported by Eurobodalla Libraries may be digitally recorded through photographs and/or video recordings. Images may be used for promotional purposes on the council’s websites, publications, social media or by newspapers. By attending this session, you agree to these terms. If you do not wish your image (or the image of your child) to be published, please notify staff before the event.
- Bookings are essential and spaces are limited.
- A maximum of 4 tickets can be booked per event.
- Age ranges are assigned to events to ensure children have the best possible experience. Please do not book your child into an event if they do not meet this requirement.
- Children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. During an event a child’s parent or guardian must remain on the library premises but does not have to be in the event space.
- Please arrive 10 minutes early to ensure the event runs on time.
Cancellations
Our events often book out. If you are unable to attend, please let us know before the event so we can allocate your spot to another person.
Occasionally, we need to cancel an event due to insufficient bookings or unforeseen circumstances. If we need to cancel an event, you will be notified via email or telephone, and your ticket fee will be fully refunded. Events cancelled by Eurobodalla Libraries will not incur a cancellation fee.
You can cancel your ticket up to 48 hours before the event starts and receive a refund of the ticket fee. These cancellations will incur a small Eventbrite booking fee. To cancel, log in to Eventbrite using the email you used to purchase your ticket.
