Designed specifically for kids in Kindergarten through 7th grade, this outing combines big museum discoveries with high-energy group games and quality time with camp friends and counselors back at camp!
Best of all? It’s 100% hassle-free for you. Just drop off your campers at Camp Sonshine in the morning, and our experienced staff will handle all transportation, supervision, activities, and fun all day long.

Our action-packed day includes both an unforgettable D.C. museum excursion and energetic camp fun back on campus:
- 🦕 Natural History Exploration: Marveling at the iconic Hall of Dinosaurs, exploring the Ocean Hall, and discovering amazing fossils and wildlife exhibits.
- 🎯 Camp Sonshine Group Games: Burning off energy back at camp with exciting, high-energy group games led by our staff!
- 👥 Friend Time & Bonding: Hanging out, catching up, and making lasting memories with camp friends and favorite counselors throughout the day.
