ASSEMBLY ADDRESS TO STUDENTS OF ATTAUFEEQ SCIENCE ACADEMYDate: Monday, 19th October, 2026
Speaker: The Director / Principal
Good morning, teachers and my dear students of Attaufeeq Science Academy.
It is a wonderful Monday morning, and I welcome everyone back to a fresh and productive week. Today, I want us to reflect deeply on who we are, where we are going, and what it takes to achieve greatness in this institution.
1. Discipline and Hygiene
Discipline remains the bedrock of Attaufeeq Science Academy. A brilliant student without discipline is like a ship without a compass. I want to remind everyone to respect your teachers, respect your prefects, and respect one another.
Alongside discipline is personal and environmental hygiene. Cleanliness is next to godliness. Keep your classrooms tidy, ensure your uniforms are neat and well-ironed, keep your hair properly trimmed, and make sure your surroundings are free of litter. A clean body and a clean environment foster a sharp and focused mind.
2. Coming Late to School
Punctuality is a key mark of a serious student. Lately, we have noticed an increase in lateness among some students. This must stop immediately. Coming late disrupts the morning assembly, causes you to miss vital classes, and shows a poor attitude toward your future. From today, the school gates will be strictly monitored, and appropriate disciplinary measures will be taken against habitual latecomers. Make it a habit to leave your homes early.
3. Dedication and Studies
Success does not happen by accident; it is the fruit of hard work and dedication. Science and learning demand your time, focus, and sacrifice. Do not just study to pass exams; study to understand and acquire knowledge. Pay attention during lessons, complete your assignments on time, and minimize distractions. If you dedicate yourselves fully to your studies today, you will reap the rewards tomorrow.
4. Continuous Assessment (C.A.) Tests
I want to remind everyone that Continuous Assessment (C.A.) is ongoing. Your C.A. scores form a vital part of your academic grading. Do not take any test or assignment lightly. Every mark counts toward your overall success at the end of the term. Prepare adequately for your assessments and give them your best shot.
5. Looking Ahead: WAEC and NECO 2028
To our current junior classes and incoming senior students, the clock is ticking. You are preparing to sit for your WAEC and NECO examinations in the year 2028. Success in these external examinations is not built in the final year; it is built now. Every topic you learn today, every habit you form, and every test you write is a stepping stone toward your 2028 success. Lay a solid foundation today so that when 2028 arrives, you will walk into the examination hall with confidence and emerge with flying colors.
6. Celebrating Our Competition Participants and Winners
I want to take a moment to specially celebrate our students who recently represented Attaufeeq Science Academy in various inter-school competitions. You made us proud! To those who won prizes, congratulations on your brilliance and hard work. To those who participated but did not win a prize, do not be discouraged—you have gained invaluable experience. We will be presenting special prizes and recognition to our winners right here on assembly next week to celebrate your achievements. Keep raising our flag high!
7. Word of Thanks to Our Teachers
Finally, I want to express my profound gratitude to our dedicated, tireless, and passionate teachers. Thank you for your sacrifices, your patience, and your unwavering commitment to shaping the minds of these future leaders. Running a science academy requires exceptional dedication, and you give your best every single day. On behalf of the management and students, we say thank you. May God bless your labor of love.
Have a blessed, focused, and successful week ahead, everyone. Thank you!@Abdulrah king @Daluta @M. Daheru Direc. Attau @Muhammad Haruna Fada ASA @Vice ASA @Accountant ASA @
