About this Event
College can open the door to incredible opportunities—but figuring out how to pay for it can feel overwhelming. Scholarship for Success is designed to help students and families better understand how to find, prepare for, and apply for scholarships that can help make college more affordable.
Join Las Bellas Elite Community Outreach, Inc. for an informative and encouraging evening featuring Tiffany Parker. Students will receive practical guidance to help them approach the scholarship process with greater knowledge, confidence, and preparation.
During this event, students will learn:
• Where and how to search for scholarship opportunities
• How to identify scholarships that match their interests, goals, and qualifications
• What information and documents they should begin gathering
• Tips for completing strong scholarship applications
• How to stay organized and meet important deadlines
• Common mistakes that could cause an application to be overlooked
This event is ideal for middle school and high school students who want to begin preparing for college, as well as parents and guardians who would like to support them throughout the process. Whether college is right around the corner or still a few years away, it is never too early to start planning.
Students are encouraged to bring something for taking notes and come prepared to ask questions.
