Schaeffer Farms has some of the best singletrack around and we stage the race at the beautiful private Button Farm. You are going to LOVE this race venue and course!!This course is known for it’s twisty singletrack and wide-open farm field running. Schaeffer is located in Germantown, MD and is an easy drive from anywhere around the DMV on race morning.
The 5K and 10K courses are the same courses used in the summer Blue Crab Bolt race at Schaeffer. However, the landscape changes significantly from summer to late fall and both courses offer runners a new experience at Schaeffer. The half marathon is one of our favorite courses that we offer as it’s a perfect mix of beautiful singletrack and really unique open farm field running.
