Everyone has heard about the angry birds, but did you know there is a collection of Native American stories about monsters, ghosts, and demons that are embodied by birds? Like Edgar Allan Poe's Raven, these scary birds are sure to give you a fright. Join Ridgway Audubon, a chapter of the Illinois Audubon Society, as we gather together at the Olney Public Library to share haunting bird tales as told by storyteller and author Brian "Fox" Ellis. FREE public event. Invite your friends and family.
For more than 40 years Brian "Fox" Ellis has been touring the world telling and collecting stories. He is the author of more than 25 books including "Bird Tales From Around the World." He is currently the editor of Illinois Audubon magazine.
