Scares Beyond the Page: Spooky Listening Party + Craft Night
NEFER Bookcafé is getting a little spooky on Wednesday, October 21.
We’re celebrating five years of Tor Nightfire, the imprint behind some of the most deliciously unsettling books for the living, the dead, and everybody somewhere in between.
Come spend the evening with us for a cozy night of horror, books, listening, and making things with your hands.
We’ll be joined by USA Today bestselling horror author Leopoldo Goût, author of Rooted, for a meet and greet. We’ll also listen to excerpts from some of Tor Nightfire’s greatest hits—because sometimes the best way to experience a scary story is to let somebody else read it to you.
And then, we make.
Come through for a paint-your-own pumpkin activity, with the pumpkins and painting supplies provided.
Not a pumpkin person? Bring your own project. Knitting. Embroidery. Collage. Journaling. Whatever you’ve been meaning to finish.
While you’re here, purchase a book from our shelves or an audiobook through Libro.fm and take a little of the night home with you.
Your Book + General Admission ticket includes a copy of Rooted and entrance to the event.
Your General Admission tickets get you entrance to the event.
There will also be a limited number of Tor Nightfire totes and swag available while supplies last.
This is an adult event.
Seating is intentionally limited. RSVP is required.
