"Scare Your Shorts Off" is a collection of horror short films from local filmmakers in and around Olympia, WA. Come join us at Altitude 15 in downtown Olympia as we celebrate scary season with a collection of locally made horror short films! The screening will be on October 16th with doors opening at 7pm show starts at 7:30pm. Enjoy a drink from Matchless Brewing as we share this event with them while they take over the taps. There will be a Q&A with participating filmmakers after the screening.We will also have a pre-screening event of currently selected short films at the OlyFilm booth during SUP Witches on Oct. 10th.

Rules for Submitting
Submission is free, but does not guarantee acceptance. It is encouraged to submit a censored version of your short as the event is for all ages. Must be a local to Olympia and surrounding counties. Maximum film length is 10-15min. There will be a pre-screening of currently selected films held on Oct 10th at the OlyFilm booth during the SUP Witches festival hosted by Capitol City Pride. By submitting you are allowing Olympia Film Collective (OlyFilm) to screen your film at SUP Witches as well as the Scare Your Shorts Off: Horror Short Film Collection screening at Altitude 15 on Oct. 16th. One representative from each film will be asked to participate for a Q&A at the end of the Oct. 16th event. Participation for the Q&A is not required.
