Stand with the Banned! Celebrate Banned Books Week with SBCO and the UNO Library!If you love books and exploring locally owned places around Omaha, this is the group for you! There are no assigned readings or deadlines - you just read what you bring. Come by yourself or with friends. This if family friendly, kids need to be able to read silently for an hour.
There is time both before and after the silent reading hour to converse or extend your reading time. Perhaps you’ll walk away with a suggestion or two for future reading.
HOW IT WORKS:
9 - 9:30 am: Arrive, socialize, and get comfortable
9:30 - 10:30 am: 1 hour of silent reading | At 10:30 we will gather in the library atrium.
10:30 - 11 am: Socialize, read, and goodbyes (optional)
An email will be sent to you from Silent Book Club Omaha ahead of the event that details additional information that is good to know before attending.
