Say It for Yourself For Black women ready to name, question & choose. Through music, reflection & discernment, enter a space to say it for yourself.
About this Event

Say It for Yourself is an intimate conversation series where two experienced Black women coaches create space to hear your own voice through music, reflection and discernment.

We'll hold the space, offer tools and ask powerful questions.

Your Facilitators

DeUnna Hendrix | Leadership Coach, Hendrix to Y
After 16 years coaching Division I basketball and leading two programs, DeUnna faced a leadership crisis that made her question how she was leading, what she wanted, and who she was becoming. Today, she uses music and sound as method to help high-achieving leaders make sense of what drives them and explore new ways of showing up.

Rev. Dr. Lacette Cross | Thought Partner, The Wholeness Collective
For more than 20 years, Lacette has worked at the intersections of leadership, faith, sexuality, and personal transformation, helping people navigate questions that rarely have easy answers. She uses reflection and discernment as method to help women examine what they’ve been taught, hear what is true for them, and make choices they can trust.

Together, we use music, reflection, and discernment to create the kind of space where you don't have to perform knowing. You get to listen, question, name what is true, and decide what comes next.

COME FOR ONE. OR EXPERIENCE THE JOURNEY.

Each session $59 | $149 for all three

Each conversation stands alone. Together, they create space to move from knowing about yourself to choosing for yourself.

ONLY 10 WOMEN. ON PURPOSE.

SEPTEMBER 29 | WHAT'S YOUR GUILTY PLEASURE?
NAME IT.

Let's start with pleasure.

What feels good? What do you want? And when did you learn that wanting it required guilt?

Through music, reflection and conversation, we'll get curious about desire without immediately judging, explaining or fixing it.

Leave having named one thing that's true for you and experienced what it feels like to let yourself say it.

OCTOBER 8 | WHO TOLD YOU THAT?
QUESTION IT.

You know some of your origin story. Now let's ask whether it still gets to run the show.

We'll explore three questions:

Who told me this?
Do I still believe it?
Does it still belong in the life I'm creating?

Through excavation, music and discernment, you'll examine the stories underneath your choices without making your past, your people or yourself the villain.

Leave clearer about one story or belief you're ready to keep, question or release.

OCTOBER 22 | YOU ARE HER...ALREADY
CHOOSE.

What if you don't need to become another woman before you can trust this one?

This conversation brings what you know into the life you're actually living:

What do I want now?
What choice feels true to me?
What am I willing to try?

No five-step reinvention. No prescription from us. Just enough support to help you hear yourself and choose a next move that belongs to you.

Leave with one choice, conversation or experiment you're ready to make your own.
