Set against the stunning backdrop of Kilkenny Castle, this much-loved food festival is back from October 22nd–26th, 2026 with a feast of activities for food lovers of all ages.

In 2025, over 74,500 people filled the streets of Kilkenny to experience one of Ireland’s largest food festivals. 2026 promises to be even bigger with the 20th anniversary celebrations! With unique dining events at local restaurants from Thursday 22nd October. Free Cookery demos; incredible street food and artisan producers from across Ireland and children’s entertainment on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th October. Plus special events on Savour Monday, 26th October including: Health & Wellness talks and workshops, a CISE celebration of food and inclusion and Madra Monday!
It’s free to enter the Festival Quarter for cookery demos, family entertainment and the Savour Market, while dining events, drinks events and workshops are individually ticketed and priced.
