Come see where some of our modern Christmas traditions have some roots in the Viking holiday of Yule. Then see how they are integrated into today's society in the Victorian age. Come and witness both Viking and Victorian culture. See a fireside chat with Odin and the patron St. Nicholas as they talk about what they taught Santa Claus when he took over as today's gift giver (as all three have a lot in common). You won't find another event in the area that has both Vikings and Victorians! We will even have a Viking Dog show! There will be a Viking encampment with several reenactment groups. We will have games from both time frames as well as comparison demos comparing the two. Other activities include: shows, live music, comparison demos, combat demos, and black smithing. Get your holiday shopping done with our themed Vendors! Sit down and grab a bite to eat from our food vendors while listening to Holiday, Viking, and Victorian Music!
Try the drink of the Vikings, mead, from our venue Breezy Hill Meadworks! All this and more. What better way to start off the holiday season?
