Save the Bay Takes Us to the High Marsh

Save The Bay’s Director of Restoration, Wenley Ferguson will lead a tour of the Canonchet Farm high marsh bordering the Narrow River. She and her team have dug mitigation runnels to drain significant ponding that was killing valuable wetland plants. This is a rare opportunity to see a part of Canonchet Farm rarely visited but is rich in colonial and natural history. Boots are a necessity and well worth the wearing. Wenley led this walk last year and, because of the public response, we have asked her to repeat the tour. You'll be glad you came!
