SaturDaze are a York, Maine–based psychedelic rock band whose music combines extended improvisation with elements of funk, jazz, roots rock, and progressive rock. Taking cues from Phish and the Grateful Dead, they favor open-ended arrangements and exploratory live jams, bringing a distinctly coastal New England character to the jam-band tradition. Their recorded catalog stretches from 2021’s WaterColors EP through 2025’s Pastela and full-length Holler at the Moon, while their live shows remain at the center of what the band does.
The Form are a Durham, New Hampshire five-piece built around improvisation, groove, and the idea that no two performances should unfold quite the same way. Drawing from rock, blues, jazz, folk, and funk, the band filters influences ranging from the Grateful Dead, Santana, and Cream to Phish and Ween through original songs and long-form improvisation, treating the audience as part of the experience rather than simply playing a fixed set at them. The lineup features Cole Liljedahl, Nicky Blues, Aidan Carter, Holden Kenne, and Ryan Martineau, and their growing archive of live recordings captures a band that puts spontaneity at the center of what they do.
