Saturday Spruce Up is a monthly volunteer work day at Audubon's Possum Long property in Downtown Stuart. When: 8:00AM - 10:00AM - Stay as long or as little as you'd like!
Where: Audubon's Possum Long Nature Center
We recommend bringing a water bottle, garden/work gloves, closed toed shoes, and a hat. Light refreshments will be available!
The five-acre Possum Long property boasts walking trails and natural features teaming with wildlife from birds, butterflies, and even the occasional otter visit at our wet retention area.
The Saturday Spruce Up focuses on keeping these areas ecologically healthy and inviting for our visitors, mainly through gardens clean-up and invasive plant management.
If you love digging in the dirt and would like to learn about Florida's native and non-native plants then this is the event for you!
We hope to see you there!
