As an alternate ride option ride to the KRBC club ride for Saturdays, the Saturday Coffee Riders Group meets weekly at Anna's Saturday mornings, leaving at 8, and riding down to Honey Bee Cafe in Zion for camaraderie, breakfast, social time, coffee, etc. Then, usually take a different route back for about 30 miles total.Anna's opens at 7, and some folks are there at that time to get coffee, breakfast and socialize there. If that's too early, the ride leaves at 8, and there is sometimes another group that leaves at 7:30 at a slower pace.
It's a good option if you have the morning available, but not the afternoon, or if you want a bit slower pace than the typical Class C KRBC ride.
It's also a good option for those who ride outdoors year-round.
Pace is usually about 14 mph average.
