SWAMI BRAHMANANDA SARASWATI:
Swami Brahmananda (David Nowe) received initiation from his Guru, Baba Muktananda, in 1974. He has been facilitating Siddha Yoga Shaktipat intensives for the past 45 years under the direction of his Guru, offering Shaktipat - the direct transmission of spiritual energy to awaken the 3 levels of Kundalini - which was traditionally a secret initiation granted only to advanced disciples (until Baba Muktananda introduced the "Siddha Yoga Shaktipat Intensive" in 1974 to bring it en masse for enchance spiritual development).
During this free evening program, Swami Brahmananda will lead a group meditation and speak briefly about Shaktipat and Kashmir Shaivism - which centres around the philosophy that Divinity is not separate from you: it dwells WITHIN You, AS YOU - your own True Self.
Warm, humble, accessible and engaging, Brahmananda illustrates these simple yet profound teachings with compelling stories accumulated over five decades of spiritual practice, eastern and western philosophical study and years spent as a sanyasi (monk) a business man, a husband and a father.
