Sashiko is a Japanese running stitch, worked for centuries to strengthen and mend everyday cloth. It is slow, rhythmic and very forgiving - you do not need to be neat, you need to be patient.
In an hour and a half you will learn the basics, practise a traditional pattern, and leave with a finished sampler and a starter kit so you can carry on at home.
No experience needed. All materials included - needle, and thread to take home with you.
