About this Event
DRESS CODE: This is a formal event.
Ladies, gowns or tea-length dresses only. NO slits above the knee, backless or strapless gowns. Gowns should have a modest neckline (remember, you will be bending over). Your dress should allow your arms and legs to move freely and modestly in all diretions, at a fast pace, while turning, and "huntching" under bridges and the like. Your dress shoes should allow you to move, forward and backward, on the dance floor without difficulty.
Gentlemen, this dance requires formal attire. That means at a minimum, dress pants, collared button-up shirt, and tie. Dress coats, tuxedos, kilts, bowties, vests, and suits are encouraged. NO t-shirts or jeans.
AGE:
The Sapphire Ball is a family event, however, all guests and family members MUST be at least 12 years old to attend. NO exceptions.
WHAT TO BRING:
As part of your admission, all guests are requested to bring a sweet or savory finger food on a pretty plate, ready to serve. (Be sure to label your plate and take it home with you when you leave the ball.)
