Now we're bringing the experience to the sapphic community! Join us for an evening of meeting queer women and sapphic folks ages 25–44, making new connections, and seeing where the chemistry takes you.
Physical attraction on a dating app doesn't compare to hearing someone's laugh, noticing the energy they bring into a room, or having a real conversation about compatibility. Sapphic Speed Dating San Diego is about creating space for organic chemistry and genuine connection. No endless swiping, no guessing who's behind a profile, and no algorithm telling you who you should like.
You'll have three ways to meet people while enjoying delicious artisanal wines at the beautiful Négociant Winery in Hillcrest.
3 Ways to Meet People
- Ice Breakers - Organized group activities to warm up the room and get everyone talking.
- Mini-Dates - 10 one-on-one conversations, just long enough to feel a spark.
- Open Social - Free mixing at the end of the night. Find your matches, continue conversations, and see where things go.
After the mini-dates, you'll select the people you'd like to connect with. Matches are shared only when interest is mutual. And if you don't get a match, don't sweat it! There's still plenty of time to meet people and enjoy the open social.
How the Night Works
6:30 PM: Check-in & Open Mingling
Grab a drink, settle in, and meet the guys.
7:00 PM: Introductions & Ice Breakers
We will kick things off together as a group to warm up our social skills.
7:30 PM: Mini-Date Rounds
Rotate through 8 mini-dates, each just long enough to know if there is a spark.
8:30 PM: Open Social
Rounds are done. Grab a glass, find your matches, and keep the night going.
9:30 PM: Closing
Say goodnight and go home... or don't 😏
