Sanctuary of Authenticity is a spacious, carefully held day created to help you step away from the noise, roles and demands of everyday life and reconnect with yourself.Throughout the day, we hold the space through the same psychotherapy-informed, somatic and nervous-system-aware approach that underpins our Therapeutic Sound Healing work. Rather than asking you to analyse yourself or arrive with something that needs to be “fixed”, we gently invite you to notice what is happening within you — in your body, emotions and inner world — and to respond to what you need.
The morning begins slowly, with time to arrive, settle and ground. Through meditation, reflection and a changing collection of creative and therapeutic invitations, you can explore what feels meaningful to you. These may include vibrational essences, Himalayan singing bowls, writing or poetry, art and collage, cards, letter writing and other reflective practices.
The intention is not to fill the day with activities, but to create enough spaciousness for something quieter to emerge. You may find yourself resting, reflecting, creating, letting something go, recognising how far you have travelled, reconnecting with a forgotten part of yourself, or simply enjoying the experience of having nowhere else you need to be.
At the heart of Sanctuary are our Seven R’s: Rest, Regulate, Release, Receive, Reconnect, Restore and Radiate. They are not steps you have to work through, but qualities woven gently through the day — supporting you to slow down, listen inwardly and reconnect with what feels authentic to you.
Lunch is part of the Sanctuary experience too, with nourishing food and the freedom to choose what you need. You might join our chatter table and connect with others, find a quiet corner to decompress, spend some time alone or take yourself outside for a walk.
During the afternoon, we move more deeply into the body through our Therapeutic Sound Healing practice. Gentle somatic and grounding work prepares the body and nervous system before an extended Himalayan singing-bowl sound journey. The bowls, resonance and vibration offer an immersive, largely non-verbal space in which the experiences of the day can settle and integrate.
We finish gently, with time to return, reflect and share a simple closing ritual before stepping back into everyday life.
This is not a day about becoming somebody else. It is an invitation to come home to the person who is already there.
