Hey fellow Santas!!! SANTACON IS BACK!!!
Throw on your best red suit or holiday costume and join me for a festive evening at Lafayette Park before walking down Polk Street together. It's time TO DRESSSSSS UP PEOPLEEEEEE <3
It's the true center of SantaCon. We'll start with about an hour of quick, app-guided chats to break the ice, and then we'll break into small groups to head out for the bars.
During the first part of the night, the Gist IRL app is going to pair us up for short one-on-one rounds. It takes the guesswork out of mingling and gives us a chance to actually hear each other over the city's holiday buzz. Once we finish those chats, you get to choose the people you had the most fun talking to, and we'll walk down to Polk Street in full costume to find a great spot to hang.
By the end of the night, you are seated at a warm table sharing food and laughs with 4-6 fellow Santas you actually connected with.
The Plan:
- 5:45 PM: Check-In. Follow the link to set up your quick profile on your phone. - 5:50 PM - 7:10 PM: One-on-One Rounds. The app pairs you for focused chats. Find out who shares your festive holiday spirit, DIY costume creativity, and love of seasonal fun. - 7:10 PM+: Form Groups & head down to Polk Street. Reconnect with your favorite matches, form groups of 4-6, and walk over to the bars — your group leaves together tonight.
We aren't just here to pass out contact info and disappear into the crowd—let's actually sit down for a meal and maybe even find our go-to people for future holiday outings.
