Sanssouci is both the name of Frederick the Great's home and a delightful French phrase meaning "no worries." Join Parish House Baroque for a carefree concert peeking into the court, family, and friends of this great man. Hear music by Frederick's sister Wilhelmine, Quantz, Bach, and Janitsch. It's a carefree kaleidoscope of sounds.
Featuring Jeffrey Smith on baroque violin and viola.
Parish House Baroque draws on historical performance practice from the Renaissance through the early Classical period, bringing the music of the era to life for Colorado Springs audiences.
