No bones about it—the Skeleton Crew is rising again!Sanford Bicycle Club is bringing back our annual Halloween ride through Downtown Sanford and the historic residential neighborhoods. We’ll cruise the streets in search of the biggest, creepiest and most horrifying Halloween displays we can find. Whenever something truly chills our bones, we’ll stop for photos—and there will be bonus points for any bony brothers or sisters we spot along the way.
Any skeleton-themed outfit is perfectly fine. Go all out with a calcium-filled ensemble, wear a skeleton T-shirt or simply show up ready to ride. Last year, several of us found inexpensive skeleton shirts at Walmart. They weren’t exactly high fashion, but they did the job! Here’s one option:

After approximately five spooky miles, we’ll return to Dees Brothers Brewery to rest our weary bones and enjoy a few brews. Of course, drinking beer without a stomach could prove difficult—but we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it.
This will be a short, casual, family-friendly ride with several stops. Bring a safe bicycle, helmet and front and rear lights.
