Join us for a powerful act of community care! We're coming together with Congressional candidate in Illinois 9th District Daniel Biss to make sandwich packs for our unhoused neighbors and community members who are afraid to access public services due to fear of ICE, SNAP cuts or just in this current climate. No one should go hungry or face fear alone. This isn't just about a sandwich, it's about mutual aid, dignity, and resistance against systemic injustice. By preparing and sharing food, we're showing up for each other in a way that affirms the humanity and worth of every individual, regardless of immigration status or housing situation.
Whether you can help with meal prep, distribution, supplies, or winter gear every contribution makes a difference. We're creating a safe space where everyone can receive support without fear.
Let's take action together, because community care is a form of resistance.
