Mood Suprim x Asa yhdistävät voimansa
Konsertissa yhtye kohtaa suomalaisen hiphopin omaleimaisimpiin ääniin kuuluvan Asan.
Mood Suprim kuljettaa yleisön hypnoottisten groovejen, runollisen herkkyyden ja improvisaation läpi, kun taas Asa liittää kokonaisuuteen oman terävän kielen, yhteiskunnallisen näkemyksen ja ainutlaatuisen, vuosien varrella hioutuneen läsnäolon.
Yhtye on julkaissut kolme singleä legendaarisen räpartisti Asan kanssa. Yhtyeen ensimmäinen kokopitkä levy julkaistaan lokakuussa.
Marouf Majidin, Esko Grundströmin ja Tomi Saikkosen muodostama Mood Suprim yhdistää sufilaisen musiikkiperinteen, suomalaisen kansanmusiikin, hiphopin, elektronisen musiikin ja Lähi-idän rytmit omaleimaiseksi nykyilmaisuksi.

Mood Suprim x Asa
Mood Suprim’s music is a journey of exploration into identity, Finnishness, and dialogue between different cultures. In this concert, the group joins forces with Asa, one of the most distinctive voices in Finnish hip-hop.
The evening pulses with an energetic and diverse soundscape, where the mysticism of Eastern Sufi melodies meets modern rhythms and the street realities of East Helsinki.
Mood Suprim, who have released three singles with legendary Finnish rapper Asa, take the audience on a journey through hypnotic grooves, poetic sensitivity, and improvisation. Asa brings his own sharp lyrical voice, social insight, and unique stage presence, refined over the course of his long career. Together, they create an experience that is more than just a concert: an explosive, breathing show where rhythm, poetry, and boundary-pushing expression merge into something to be heard, felt, and experienced in the moment.
Formed by Marouf Majidi, Esko Grundström, and Tomi Saikkonen, Mood Suprim combines Sufi musical traditions, Finnish folk music, hip-hop, electronic music, and Middle Eastern rhythms into a distinctive contemporary sound.
