Sammy Miller and The Congregation are on a mission to put generosity back into jazz and bring the art form to the people. For more than a decade, Miller has worked to make jazz accessible to a new generation of listeners, creating music that is exuberant, welcoming, and alive. The acclaimed ensemble has performed everywhere from Lincoln Center and The White House to TEDx and the Newport Jazz Festival, sharing the stage with such celebrated artists as Jon Batiste and Wynton Marsalis. The group has also headlined prominent jazz festivals around the world. The Congregation specializes in what it calls joyful jazz: music that feels good, inspires connection, and turns every performance into a celebration. The group's latest album, Joyful Jazz at Lincoln Center, captures the infectious energy and spirit that have become its signature.
