On Saturday, Oct 31st, Thistle Grove will be celebrating Samhain, and we will be honoring The Ancestors. If you wish, you may place a memento of one of your ancestors on the Ancestor Altar. The ritual will be held at The Independent Order of the Odd Fellows, 3903 Meriwether Rd, Shreveport, LA 71109. This is a family-friendly event. Ritual starts at 3 pm. Everyone is welcome regardless of tradition, as long as you are respectful of others. This is a no camera event except pictures of the altar are allowed. A potluck will follow the ritual. You are not required to bring a dish, but you are welcome to do so. Please bring your own non-alcoholic beverage. Feel free to message us if you have any questions. We'd love for you to share the ritual with us.
