About this Event
Samhain is the Witches’ New Year for some, the last harvest, and the night the veil between the worlds runs thinnest. Weavers of the Web opens the gates in the West with Hekate and Loki and calls our ancestors home: blood kin, lineage, friends and teachers who’ve crossed over, and the animals who walked beside us. Bring photos and mementos for the community ancestor altar, plus collars, tags, or toys for the pet altar. A Warriors Altar honors those who served and didn’t come home, and we also raise a cup to the ancestors of our Craft who made it possible to circle openly today. Everyone gets a chance to toast a loved one by name. A story, a prayer, or just a name is enough, and if you’d rather not speak, our Maiden will read your names in the final toast.
After cakes and cider in circle, we move to the feast. Weavers provides allergy-friendly basics; you bring sides, desserts, and dishes your ancestors would recognize. The ritual is free, family-friendly, and open to all, no experience needed. Join in person, participate by Zoom, or watch the YouTube livestream with no camera or participation expected. Bring your own chalice and the names you want spoken. Registration is free and helps us plan for the feast. Raffle proceeds and donations support the Temple Fund.
