Freya and Elizabeth of the Luminous Collective warmly welcome you to a Samhain fire ceremony and gathering at Northern Lights Yoga. We invite you in to be held in the warmth of this sacred passageway into the decent of winter, honoring and calling in the Great Mother to hold us as a collective family, clearing the wellspring of our soul so we can breath deeply once more in this loving sacred field of ceremony. Shedding the ‘aloneness’ that is pervasive in our collective. Tucking in the arms of our community here in Oslo, looking into each others eyes and feeling the warmth that is here and can not be shaken.

Samhain holds a significant transition in our year as we gather our final harvest before we descend into the darkness of winter. This gateway is an invitation from Mother Earth to be with one of the greatest lessons and opportunities of life - to be present with what is and honour the endings in our life, befriending death and inviting its mystery to come closer and sit awhile with you inside the cave of your Winter dreaming.

Samhain marks the end and beginning of the Celtic New Year and so we celebrate the cycle of death and rebirth, witnessing in nature the effortless shedding of the summer fruits and leaves as she prepares to go inwards, drawing her energy downwards in to the earth to return to the stillness, the roots, and incubate her dream seeds until the light returns.

Samhain Is the time to honour and remember all that we have lost, grieving the dead or the energy of endings in our life be it through a project, relationship, programming that is leaving our conciousness and feeding the memory of our ancestors or what has been. This relationship between the living and the dead, the seen and unseen, is what enables the Great River of life to keep on flowing. With our prayers, songs, stories, tears, offerings and creations we can tend to the sacred fire around which our ancestors are fed and warmed. With this thread we can access a whole realm of unseen support, holding, inspiration and grace in our lives.

Feast of Remembrance
We will gather to share stories, food and song in the Spirit of Remembrance. Bring the favourite food of a loved one (if you can), photos of them, a flower that represents a color they loved, and any stories or memories you wish to share.
Dancing the Bones
We will dance in rememberance connecting to our bodies,our bones and the earth, and inviting the memory of our ancestors to guide our movements, dancing to release, to purify and rejoice at being alive in a body and move any stagnant energy.
You will be guided into a deep place of rest and healing through the magic of Liz’s singing bowls, drum, song, and the woven channelling through Freya for this time and the group that gathers.

Freya is a psychic medium soul communicator bringing through what is needed from spirit to help people understand who they are and come back into harmonic resonance. She channels light codes and information from the multi dimensional field, reading the energetic layers to assist people, animals, land, homes/buildings, businesses, projects, those who cannot speak. She weaves together a unique tapestry of modalities including Art Psychotherapy (MA), Art, Doula practitioner, Trauma-Informed Coaching, Reflexology, Sound Healing, Vibrational Frequency and Light Language. She is an initiated priestess of the Rose and the Celtic lineage of her ancestors. She was born and raised in England not far from Glastonbury and her gifts have been present since she was a child. Freya has worked with healing for the last 28 years full time with clients in Oslo and abroad, she facilitates ceremonies, retreats, and Rites of passage including Closing of the bones.

Elizabeth Gilman is a Priestess initiated in her Celtic lineage, reiki and sound healing practitioner, known for her grounding presence and amazing cooking skills. Her work is centered around guiding people back home to the innate wisdom of their bodies through a weaving of shamanic ancestral wound healing, sound healing, and somatic channeling.
Her love for deep nourishment and a pleasure-filled life is infused into all that she offers. A former wellness chef and health consultant. She works as a practitioner holding ceremonies and mother's rites of passage full time in Oslo.
Liz is from Palo Alto, California and has lived in Norway for 10 years.
The ceremony will be held in English.
