Well, hello, pumpkins 🎃We are drawing near to our Samhain event!! This year, we'll be gathering the stories and momentoes of our departed loved ones to carry them along the Path to the Dead, which we will walk as a coven as we encourage the spirits' safe passage. Please, bring something small with you that we can place on our altar as we share, as well as a dish for the potluck so that we can feast to this year's magic. Think of something that represents your loved ones, perhaps? After all, this holiday feast is for the spirits as well!
This year is about transitory magic, but it is also about protecting what we have while we have it. We will be consecrating our coven's altar and tools as part of the event, and you are welcome to bring any tools for your practice to consecrate as well! Please bring anything that you would like to imbue with the collective protection and energy of our group at the celebration of the Celtic new year. If you don't vibe with getting everyone's energy on your stuff, that's alright too - you're welcome to join us in other parts of the ritual.
As always, these are dry events - please do not bring any alcohol to the potluck. We usually have people write down a short ingredients list as well, so that those with allergies know what they should stay away from.
