Hvalross is afour-piece Dutch hard rocking band. Not from Norway as the name would suggest(Hvalross means Walrus). The band saw first light in the spring of 2018, butthe members have been rocking since they were teenagers in the late eighties.Hvalross wants to honour these times. The hard rock and heavy metal from theseventies and the eighties therefore has a strong base in their sound andlyrics, supplemented with influences from contemporary stoner and heavy rockmusic. Hvalross integrates narrative stories about fantasy, mythological andexistential themes. This results in a powerful and at the same time melodicsound. Heavy and monstrous like a walrus.
